Summer in Ticino 2025

I do love my summers in Europe. This year the tour was a little shorter than usual, due to some stormy weather back home in Florida. We just did one gig, at Hotel La Campagnola in Ticino (the Italian-speaking canton of Switzerland).

Markus and I had a great time playing by the pool - almost like a Florida gig. I've been playing with Mr. Baumer since 2006, and every year it's like slipping on an old favorite pair of shoes. I know him and he knows me, but we can still surprise each other now and then, and that's what live music is all about.

Host Stefano treated us like family, and we also got to hang with musical friends Steve Arvey and Brian Mitchell. What fun! Some guys who haven't heard all my road stories yet! Stefano, Steve and I stayed up til late telling tall tales and bitching about the music (and hotel) business.
